I call him “Tool” because he’s a dick.
Gaige O’Neal is nicknamed “Tool” because of what he’s packing. Rumor is, he’s well equipped.
I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had the pleasure.
He’s a cocky, entitled, insufferable a**hole who’s as reckless with women as he is with that stupid motorcycle he races.
He’s also my stepbrother. Lucky me.
It’s been four years since I’ve seen him. Four years since he’s made me so frustrated I could scream. Four years since he’s given me that look, the one that makes me instantly wet.
So it’s just f**ing fitting that the first time I see him in four years, he’s buried beneath three scantily clad blondes.
Now I’m stuck here under the same roof with him while he recovers from a racing injury. An injury that clearly hasn’t affected the use of his tool.
The problem is, as much as I despise him, I just can’t help myself. I want to find out what kind of tool he's working with.
Dirty-talking, bossy-in-the-bedroom tool wants to dishevel his lady-like stepsister!
This book is exactly what we expect from Sabrina Paige. Our heroin, Delaney, is a put-together, strong, educated new-adult woman starting a new job in Daddy’s big company. Enter Tool, what Delaney calls her stepbrother, Gaige, who wants nothing more than to finally take her to bed and see just how much she likes his bossiness and his hot, alpha self. This book is five-flames HOT almost all the time, but with plenty of story to keep the interest.
The last chapter acts as an amazing classic Epilogue, and I am left hugging my Kindle with a big grin on my face. My only disappointment is that we do not get to see the antagonist get their comeuppance. What happens with the big business deal and the “other job?” (That’s not a spoiler until after you’ve read it, which then would also not be a spoiler…LOL.) An author friend of mine sometimes writes “extended epilogues” when she’s between books. I’d love to read a four to six chapter novella featuring Gaige and Delaney, and perhaps some little drama about a business deal at Daddy’s big company that almost goes wrong because of the same antagonist, and we get to see that person CRASH AND BURN. LOL! Does that make me evil? LOL! *shrug*
I’m looking forward to reading the third book in the A Step Brother Romance series, Cannon. You gotta love books that you can’t even tell your children the name of. HA! Prick, Tool, and Cannon: at least they are words we can say in Amazon reviews so we can properly review these amazing love stories. Bravo, Sabrina Paige! On to Cannon after I make a few other stops on the way to literary Nirvana. 🙂
