My Review
This book was easily five stars!
The brilliant Karina Halle has done it again. This tale is woven in such a way that I have no CLUE who to trust! I can’t even trust the heroine (really, an anti-heroine, which is so rare to find). I’m finding myself in love with two men, one through Stockholm’s syndrome by proxy, the other because he’s loyal, sexy, brave, and the one I want to trust most.
The ending blew my mind. The next book’s description blew my mind. I can’t believe it! I never would have guessed. These people are so damaged. I’m not sure why anything surprises me.
I find myself wanting to write this review as fast as I possibly can, because I need to know what happens next! Shooting Scars surpassed both Sins & Needles and On Every Street for me. I can’t imagine what Bold Tricks will do to mess me up. I’m in so much trouble, both my heart and mind. Off I go into the unknown. Hold me. Please.
