Synopsis
The final installment of the Breach Trilogy!
Things are finally looking up for Nathan and Lila. Though separated at work, their life together is just beginning.
They’re working hard to lock up Lila’s past, when Nathan’s comes knocking at the door with a gift—a warning that happiness can, and will, be taken away.
Is running away the only option to stay alive? Can they ever find the peace they deserve?
The battle for survival has begun.
My Review
Whew! In the second book of this trilogy, I thought we’d lost the dirty-talking Nathan, but he’s BACK!
What a magnificent ending! I found myself scared to death at 80% in the book, turning pages like I was walking on eggshells along with the characters, and wondering how on EARTH K.I. Lynn was going to wrap this up in about a half-hour of reading time. Well, she did it, as I said, magnificently!
Our couple is still healing from each of their pasts, doing so leaning on each other, when they easily could have fallen back into old habits and wrecked each other. My relationship with my husband is just fine, but Nathan and Lila are making me think that couples counseling would help us, too, even though we’ve got nothing going on like these two.
There’s a HEA for those of you who need that. 😉 I’m a little twisted, so I would have been just as happy to see them both gunned down and reunited in the afterlife. Oh, did I say a LITTLE twisted? Oops.
So what are you still doing here? Go get your pants scared off. Oh, and there’s a LOT of sex, especially in the first quarter of the book. Don’t lose hope. The story is in there, and it’s GOOD.
