My Review

This book was so awesome that I bought a not-naughty version for my daughter before I even sat down to write this review!

I have never before read a book that was so seamlessly contemporary AND historical within the same book. There is no cliffhanger at the end, but the story is definitely not over, and I cannot wait to read more from this series and more from this author. I’m going shopping in her library in just a minute. 😉

This story had me on the edge of my seat from 66% until the end. I growled at my children to leave me alone because I “had a stomach ache.” LIE. I was reading through lunch and my food disappeared without me remembering having eaten it. I was completely sucked in to this story. It did not let me go for one second.

TOUCH THE TREE!!!! TOUCH IT NOW!!! You might find yourself shouting these things out loud as Tara Oakes teases and tempts you. I wanted to shove the heroine straight into that tree! None of that is a spoiler, and you’ll fully understand it after you read the book.

Both the hero and heroine were so strong! I was worried for their physical safety at times, but emotionally, I knew they could stand firm through the strongest of knock-down situations.

Read this book and be rewarded with goose bumps, tingly feelings 😉 and maybe some tears. And if you don’t want sex in your paranormal read, there is another version available that excludes the erotica.
