My Review

I dare you to read this book and try NOT to fall in love with Jackson.

You. Will. FAIL.

I am going to say very little about this book. I went in mostly blind, and I want you to do that, too. This book is funny, will bring on some serious sobbing, and entertain you on every single page, the perfect formula for the Great Book Recipe.

Example of a funny? Sure, here’s one.

“…you’re going to be that crazy bitch with a hundred cats. We all know a woman should only have one pussy.”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! There’s more where that came from.

There’s a confident, sexy, strong, alpha, SEAL (oh my God) hero in this book. That would be Jackson. You’re SO going to fall for him. Try and stop it when he says stuff like this:

“‘Oh my God,’ I say in a breathy moan.
‘Not God, baby, but pretty damn close. Now open those sexy brown eyes and watch me.'”

Watch him what? Well, it’s this “sinking” thing men do with the women they love, only he sinks deeper. His talk gets dirtier than that. WAY dirtier. But I want you to read that for yourself.

Look out for the ending and brace yourself. It is a cliffhanger. It is a cliffhanger you will LOVE, because you can plow right through to the second book in this duet, which is already out. Better yet, you can get them as a box set, even on Kindle. That’s what I did. I’m just reviewing them separately, because I want people to get ON these books and get reading! You won’t want just the first book. Remember? CLIFFHANGER?

I am so in love with Jackson Cole, it is not even a little bit funny. I love it when I find a new-to-me author that gifts me with such an amazing new book boyfriend to swoon over. Come in and see what Muffin Monday is all about. Corinne Michaels is active on Facebook and responds to fans, even before they’re fans. She’s amazing. I don’t know HOW she hid from me for so long. I read upwards of 500 books a year, no joke. A rare gem, this duet. READ IT. You, too, will want Catherine to have what she wants…to be someone’s Beloved.
